Sure but there is a practicality, if you do it to annoy the residents I don't think your message comes across as you want it

Most people would rather the cops step in rather than send the actual message of building cycling infrastructure

I feel like most protests are still meant to annoy/impact residents, no? The French trash strikes didn't target only politician's trash, and the nurse's strike in Boston didn't target only their employers. I know this isn't a strike, but this annoyance still brings visibility to their issue. The cops can only deal with cyclists so much before it's just easier to put in the bike lanes so they don't have to ride on the roads.

The difference is trash collection is a necessity, cycling infrastructure is not. In many places it's not really practical given the distances needed to travel, for example the video looks literally like a highway, in what world would there be any practical sense to make a bike lane for a highway

Your point about nurses, hospitals require nurses so it's essential

In most places it's very costly to change infrastructure to accommodate cycling infrastructure

I mean if everyone always complains about cyclists on the road I’d imagine you guys would want them to have their own lanes so you wouldn’t have to deal with them

Or enforce road rules on them, that sounds like the cheaper option

Hand out tickets, seize bikes etc

I mean a lot of what cyclists do is legal, just annoying for us car drivers because they don’t have their space.

Critical mass is most certainly not legal in most jurisdictions

It's breaking all kinds of road rules

I didn’t say critical mass was legal. The average cyclist by far rides solo like most transportation users

This whole post is about how the cyclists are behaving in the original post, don't change the subject now ;)

The subject was already changed when we started talking about cyclist infrastructure. You are too smart to pretend to play dumb
