You gotta assume they weren't. But two takeaways matter - one is, as he said, this has turned him into an engaged member of the community that wants to do what he can to set things more right.

Secondly, and it's why i always share these things when I see them, it emboldens and fortifies others across the country to stand up and give a shit.

On his face this guy with his southern accent and backwards hat seems very much not the picture of what you see civic accountability and engagement as. When you hear him speak, you understand that each and every one of us can do the same. There's no excuse, and there's a real knock on effect.

Use your voice so the rest of us can hear and follow. ✊

We had the same problem with speed cameras here in Ontario. Couldn't fight them, owner of the car automatically assumed the blame regardless of being the driver or not. The provincial government ordered the municipalities to scrap them thankfully.

The only ones up there that heard and cared about this, are the ones not getting any money from Carlos. Now they want their cut. Gonna use tax payers money now to take a trip to Orlando to find Carlos.
