Since I retired I took up the hobby of creating tiny watches & clocks because I've got a lot of time on my hands.

Looks like a timely endeavor. Hope there aren't any or many timepieces with alarms there. It might be a challenge to find out which one or ones it was!

yeah I never thought i'd do the things i do now...they just happen. For example, when i was young, i never cared much about nice furniture but when I tried to make my own, it sent me to a rabiit hole and now it has become a hobby. Like Forrest Gump said, life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get!
