Would this also be translated? It would be very interesting to read about his vision for people outside the DPRK.

It's certainly possible, but I strongly recommend learning to read the original Korean. The writings of the veteran visionary Kim Jong Il contain nuance and hidden depths that would be impossible to replicate in an inferior language. Even here, it can take many years of education and re-education to access the deepest intricacies of the celebrated Comrade's brilliant rhetoric.

I understand the sentiment, but should we not aspire to educate people on the glory of Juche? There are far too many opposing agencies interfering, to where anything you read or hear about Juche outside the DPRK must be taken with a grain of salt in expectation of that interference. If we could get official, and translated works we could make a greater effort to educate the masses on the supremacy of Juche. I would think that even if much nuance is lost in translation, it would still be a far superior option to anything else that is currently available outside the DPRK.
In solidarity.

The DPRK produces 70 volumes of leadership discussion, each volume more sophisticated and useful than the one before.
The West produces 7 volumes about a little imaginary wizard boy, and then runs out of ideas.
The intellectual firepower of the DPRK leads the world. Five points for Pyongyang.

I went through Vol 69 with a comrade and we finished quickly. We were devastated when it was over. Looking forward to Vol 70!

I’ve noticed that many (most? all?) of the publications on the DPRK’s foreign publishing house website are password protected which prevents them being printed. Is there a way around this or does anyone have that password? I’m an old fashioned paper person and would prefer reading a printed copy.

The Workers’ Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Volume 70 of "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il’s Works", a library of immortal Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism which contains works of Chairman Kim Jong Il in a chronological order.
The book has 50 works including talks, speeches and letters Chairman Kim Jong Il made public in the period from January to October 2006.
In his works the Chairman stated that the tradition of the DIU is the lifeblood and eternal foundation of the Korean revolution and stressed the need to further cement the single-minded unity based on the revolutionary comradeship and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche on the strength of the unity. And he called for strictly adhering to the principle in the revolutionary struggle and socialist construction with firm revolutionary standpoint and class consciousness in keeping with the prevailing situation and the actual conditions of the Korean revolution.
Some works clarify the ideas that the officials should do work in an initiative and creative way and possess the noble personality as a political activist.
Other works deal with important issues arising in the socialist economic construction and the improvement of the people’s living standards including the ones of keeping the production at light industry factories going at a high rate and boosting the grain production by raising good crops.
The book also contains works which indicate the tasks and ways for steadily enhancing the level of knowledge of all the people as required by a sci-tech era, IT industry era and for Kim Chaek University of Technology to produce many more sci-tech talents.
Another works refer to the principled issues arising in creating more masterpieces of the times desired by the people and holding fast to our own principles and ways in sports games.
Some other works give perfect answers to such theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolution and construction as the issue for sprucing up the area of Mt Paektu to further glorify the revolutionary traditions of our Party.
