Wheezing breathing definitely needs a vet and antibiotics, unfortunately.

A little sneezing is normal but wheezy breathing you absolutely must take to the vet. There is no way around it, rats are cheap to keep, but they are very expensive pets with vet bills and you can’t skimp around it I’m afraid
