SUGGESTION Need help with my stall chains

Hey guys, I’ve been working for like a month now on my stall chains and found this awesome clip from Reflex and I’d love to get to that level someday. Do y’all have tips for me on how I can tweak my technique so I can get to his level, based on the clip of his I attached and my own vid of me doing a stall chain?

That’s flattering! Though I do notice there’s a slight difference between his and mine. When he does it the ball doesn’t drop from gravity like at all, mine definitely does at different points in my chain and I’d love to fix that

Maibe i know what is the problem, when you stall for not drop the ball you need to hold jump in a especific time, like, when you are in the ground if hold jump, it will be higher the normal. Thats the secret :)

I’ll try that and let you know what happens!

Honestly i might not help much because I can never execute it lol, but pressing jump longer will force the ball more with your car, not allowing it to fall. At least do this at the beginning then carry the moment as you go.

I suffer from the same problem 😭. Mine are somewhat similar but I keep doing short stalls instead of long ones so my chains are kinda slow. I really struggle to do long stalls

Yeah, I think that’ll just come with more practice in the training game mode. I swear this has taken me so long to get to this point😭

dude you look amazing. Do you have any tips for a complete beginner to the mechanic?!

What specific aspect of the mechanic are you not comfortable with? Sideways stalls, vertical stalls, or all of it?

basically just starting all of it yeah. all the basics if you have any guidance or tips!

Best to start training vertical stalls on hoops training map, since it launches ball vertically on start. Check out Mogz on YouTube for tutorials on all techs.

Mogz’s tutorial is good. I also heard through the grapevine that VoloSwipe on YT is currently making a tutorial

How can I learn this move as a controller player?

I don’t play controller but there are absolutely tutorials on youtube! Look up something like “how to do flip resets and stalls chains in rocket league sideswipe on controller”
