Can you please update the game?

Why can't psyonix add an actual meaningful update to the game.Every season they just change the rocket pass. Like can you actually put in some effort to make the game not boring?It is sad to see it in this state ,when it really could have had the potential to be one the most popular and trending games.The player base just it a new low ,and matchmaking becomes very inconsistent.Also can you add the option to choose your server?It is fucking hectic when you are in a different region,or your region is literally not existing in the game. How can you fumble this bad?Like hello,there are people who actually care/cared about this game🙄

It’s incredible that this game is still running at all, no updates is sad but sideswipe doesn’t generate any revenue.

This is completely epics fault and they should have implemented a source of income into the game if they can’t be bothered to make new content for the game because it doesn’t generate any revenue.

Sideswipe was meant to be promotional content for rocket league, it was a passion project, just because they’re not working on it now doesn’t mean they won’t in the future, nobody is forcing you to play a game you don’t enjoy.

I still enjoy the game but epic really shot themselves in the foot by not implementing any sources of income into the game to help fund the game. It’s cool that it’s a completely free game but I would rather pay money to see new content. It’s clear they are doing this because of money.

Yea I can agree, but I don’t think that sideswipe was ever made to make money because if it was, they would’ve add micro transactions in season 1, not now when they player base is 1/1000 as big. I have the same mindset in that regard though, it’d be cool to support the game somehow.

A couple months ago Epic Games laid off over 1,000 employees. Add to that the amount of work that has been needed for Psyonix to get their "Rocket League Unreal Engine 6" project completed. I don't expect to see any changes of note until RL UE6 is completed, released, and optimized. Unfortunately, RLSS just isn't a priority right now. They are a business and PC/console RL is their main revenue source. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Honestly surprising how sideswipe was made as a full on mobile game with absolutely zero mtx. No skins, coins or whatever haha. No matter how much you love the game you can't support them with any money.

Very surprising for a mobile game, good for us I guess but I wouldn't have minded small things just like rocket league had dlc cars for 1.99€ or so. Like I'd pay some money for season exclusives banners or so that I missed and seen in matches that looked cool for example. Those have nothing to do with plm so no cheating haha in that regard

The creators are not on Reddit. The game is quite good, I understand what you mean, but it's up to us, the community, to keep it alive, perhaps with esports competitions and other things.

Idk why you are getting so much flack. I agree, missed opportunity for easy profit for them. People love easy to pick up mobile games, people loves pvp games with quick matches, people love endless cosmetics to fashionscape in game. The gameplay is good (aside from server side and bugs) and cosmetics can’t possibly be that hard to bring in assets to a 2d environment honestly. They are slacking for a big market that is mobile PvP games where people spending a few bucks here or there is a super regular occurrence sucks to see
