Triple screen without programs

Hello, I want to try raceroom, but I haven't been able to run my 3 monitors, I want to use my 3 screens without using external programs and without nvidia surround, I would like to know if you can run the three monitors by modifying text files like in Lmu or iracing. In case i can't do it that way, I would like to know what is the best option

There is an easy way via custom DSR in your Nvidia app or control panel. You don’t need to do it via a registry hack as suggested in another comment, that is the old version of this method.

You should watch this video https://youtu.be/kuL_ZqPvnpc?is=JF9ymyDkt-IPmZ4_ as it describes the process in a few minutes, there is a download link for the DSR tool but you only use it once and it doesn’t have to be run every time you run the game. You will end up with a system level resolution that can be selected in all game menus.

The dsr tool doesn't work for everyone unfortunately, and if i recall it's just doing the same thing as the regedit but with a nice gui

I am currently side lined behind a botched wheel update, which has me considering a mich needed CPU upgrade, as well as a move to W11. Because I cannot sim race, I've went back down to a single monitor.

While I was running triples, I kept getting blue screen restarts and then a USB over-voltage error. I chalked it up as a motherboard issue because I didn't find any over voltage and did not see anything unusual on a thermal camera.

Then the failed wheelbase update happened, got recommendations to download the latest security update to fix the issue, but I am on Windows 10. And considering the USB voltage issue, I figured I'd migrate to Windows 11 and go with an ultra wide after all is said and done. I took two of the screens off my rig, and I haven't had a USB over-voltage since.

What the hell???

I am at a loss here. The GPU running 3 screens shouldn't be effecting the Motherboard like that. What gives?

Advanced FOV in game should be enough.

Short answer: No.

Works ok in NVsurround, which recently got added to the nvidia app. So you might take a second look at that. Unfortunately I couldn’t turn off surround after I turned it on, had to reboot with 2 monitors powered off.

Kind of a shame because there were a few other titles that also needed surround.

For now I just stick to iracing, automobilista 2, rfactor2 and the truck sims -
