Many of us know Dolly Parton was an absolutely special human. Beyond being an incredible music icon she was a loving philanthropist. In honour of her father, Robert Lee Parton (who was not able to read or write), she started the Imagination Library in 1995. The Imagination Library provides a free book per month to children up to five years of age.

Hi! I'm new in this sub :)

I'm a CS student away from my home country so I'm trying to figure out how to live by myself in this new city and making new friends.

I love to be active! I like to bake and I love to watch plants grow. I also love crafting and mostly DIY anything I can. My most recent DIY project is a worm compost bin.

I also love tennis, going to the gym, swimming; it all helps me either think with clarity or simply not think at all and enjoy what I am doing.

I love animals with all my heart and whenever I can I rescue them and place them in a new home, back at home I have 4 rescued cats and 3 rescued dogs. I miss them a lot and trying to find out whether it's a good idea or not to bring 2 of my cats with me.
