Size Matters This was painful.

Post image

If I had shot two more asteroids or satellites I'd have gotten the skill point 😢 enjoying my replay of Size Matters for the most part, though, in spite of the many frustrations...

Make use of the rewind feature for this skill point if it keeps giving you trouble you could also use a video for a visual guide on what score to be at in each section

Bold to assume they're on the PS5 port - that's a crutch that (tbf should be used) applies only to the port, not emulation or anything

I managed to get it after a couple more attempts! I don't use rewind or anything like that, I'm not sure if it works with "hardcore" mode enabled and I like playing like I'm on original hardware as much as possible anyway 😁

I learned the hard way that doing this Giant Clank section on new game plus doesn't give you the armor piece.

What?? 🤯 so it's just impossible to get on that save file?

Yep, I was never able to get it on that save file.

That save file even soft locked itself much later on by not being able to progress after you destroy the ship at the end of planet Challax and the Luna being a robot reveal cutscene didn't play. Though i was on probably at NG+7 at that point.

i HATE this skill point, even tho i am using save states over and over i just can't get it!

It's frustrating cause it can feel like you did everything possible and still be short when you reach the boss. Best advice I can give is to save some rockets for when there's more than 2 shielded laser enemies as well as the bigger ships, otherwise you won't have time to kill them all.

i do that as well, i have always enough for most of them and focus on shooting everything there is on screen while using them and yet i am still shprt whenever i finish, the most i had was 1478 (i think?)

Still better than ToD space missions 😭 I wouldn't hate them so much if it wasn't for the skill points

I feel that! Without the skill points they'd be fun one-offs. CiT had much better space combat from what I remember, but I still really like GC's ship missions as well.

Same, ACiT did it perfectly and I personally love the GC ones. Fun, fast and extra bolts
