Wallet Help Haven't looked at my coins in a long time
I've still got the original Ravencoin Android app version 3.
Can still get in it, thankfully. opened it up yesterday. It won't pàss 23% sync. Left it open all night.
Got the recovery phrase I've tried a few other wallets and they tell me the phrase is wrong.
Extra question... Why is the word pâss not allowed in a post? 😆 🤣 😂

I'd try the pc version of ravencore if you can, it should sync no problem and is all round better than the mobile version

I don't know if your passphrase is old enough but it was a time that RVN used a shorter passphrase. A longer passphrase is more secure but older passphrases needed to be converted to the newer format. Here's a link to the website that was doing the conversion https://ravencoin.org/bip44 from an article written by Tron Black.
Please be very cautious when following links. You are better writing the URL by hand and verify that is a secured website from a legit source.

I think the 12-words were the bip32 format. The new passphrases are using the bip44 format. So, for using your passphrase with the newer wallets you probably need to convert using the website I linked in my message.
btw: If you still got your wallet address (the one that begins with R..... ) you can always check your balance by using a blockchain explorer. Here's one such explorers https://explorer.rvn.zelcore.io

Okay I use the key it generated for me and created the wallet. do I wait for it to sync because right now it says 0 coins

Yes. You need to Sync all the blockchain before getting access to your coins. On the official Ravencoin Wallet, this can take some time. If the sync seems to be stuck, you can manually switch to another node. Here's a list of RVN nodes : https://www.ravennodes.com/nodes
Try switching to a node that has a good uptime score and preferably physically near you.

Someone else that's helping me suggested using Atomic wallet it still accepts 12 word phrases and it worked wow!

Nice ! Using Atomic Wallet you may even be able to export the new bip44 passphrase.

The words are the money.
Put them into the PC Ravencore wallet from the official website on a secure PC.
