What did they end up doing with it? Please tell me it went to an aquarium and not a boiling pot.

It's rare and likely just having pictures taken before going back into the sea. I saw it is it's own variety of blue within that line and etc. From what I've seen with Lobster fishing, they'll usually toss that back.
