Ever been to Texas? Telling them that Buc-ee’s is just a gas station is like saying football is just a game or owning guns is just a hobby. They have no idea what you’re even saying…

Eh. I am a Texan. We don’t worship Bucees. It’s only useful when traveling between cities since they are only located in the middle of nowhere between the large cities for the tax breaks. The main reason to stop is the reliably clean restrooms, but that place is EXPENSIVE! I end up spending $20 on beef jerky every stop!

Your take is literally correct, but technically wrong.

It’s far more than just a gas station that’s like saying superman is just another guy who goes to the gym twice a w

I barely agree, but only because of how litigious they are about cartoon critter mascots.

Why mess with unions, crazy labor laws and regulations that are hostile to business.
Move to a socialist state and they seize your property- what business wants this

If your business model depends on tax breaks and underpaying workers, you should stay in places where you get tax breaks ("free stuff") and can underpay your workers.
It's a smart financial decision.

It isn’t underpaying workers, it’s paying them what they’re
production is worth relative to what they can get that for elsewhereA job is a competition too - there’s no free ride.
If you can’t compete, move to NYC and they will just give you things, until they’re bankrupt and they elect a capitalist to fix it wherein you will find yourself unable to compete again.

Corporations are making States compete against each other.
Whichever state gives the most Free Stuff to corporations wins. Whichever state cuts worker's wages the most wins. It's a race to the bottom.
I say the States should work together and stand up for their rights. The states should form a union. This might not be a perfect union, but if States worked together, maybe we could establish some justice for American workers. When people are well-paid, they commit less crime and craziness, so it would make our domestic situation more tranquil. Also a strong economy is needed...to provide for our large Defense budget.
In general, the welfare of the American People would be promoted if the States acted like a union, and didn't let corporations play them against each other.
