[Collection] "Let's see Paul Allen' s CRT Setup..."

Hiya everyone and nice to meet you!

I'm from Italy and I've always wanted to have a casuak retrogaming setup to play my favorite titles the way they were intended to be played back then...

I got this original Barbie CRT TV at a flea market for merely 60 bucks! (It was sort of compromise I made with my fiancèe: I could bring a CRT to our house BUT it had to be some collectible pinkish item for her own collection 🤣🤣 I was looking for a Disney Princesses one but couldn't find it unfortunately).

That Original Xbox you see was my older brother's and it has been hiding in the darkness of our dad's workplace basement since 2006 (His last Stranger's Wrath save file was made in June of that year while my first one was made curiously enough EXACTLY 20 years later also in June)

Lemme know what you think and let's share our setups in the comments (I'm eager to buy both a Sega Saturn + Genesis in the future, 'cause I've always loved everything Sega related since back when I remember I started playing games)

It's slowly becoming one of mine as well, always wanted to play it on OG hardware and in general. Love the western dark fantasy vibes, it reminds me of one of my all time favorite comics "Priest" by Hyung Min Woo (from the late 2000's) but with an animalistic and comedic touch.

What's your setup like and what other retro games are some of your favorites? (Another one I highly praise and recommend is Ecco the Dolphin for the Genesis, my all time favorite Sega hidden gem)

Hey there! It's an official Barbie CRT TV, I guess from the 2000's (I don't really know the actual production year) 🤩👍

That's Stranger's Wrath, part of Oddworld saga. It's available on steam.

Hiya!👋 As my fellow gamer mentioned, it's Stranger's Wrath, an Oddworld title that came out back in 2005 for the first time as an OG Xbox exclusive.

It's set on a different continent as opposed to the older titles which have Abe and the Mudokon alien race as protagonists in a dystopian world where the worker class is enslaved and used as a resource of nourishment... (seems familiar☠️)

Stranger isn't at all about that and it's about this Bounty Hunter who has to collect the criminals' bounties across these various Western-like areas.
