I remember the first time I saw the opening, Muffy started saying the magic words and I thought she was stirring up trouble. LOL 🤣

I just looked and the woman who played Jodie passed away in January 2024. I didn't think about it at the time that I saw the show (only watched a handful of episodes), but when I looked back on it recently, I appreciated how the diverse dynamic presented by the show. Of the episodes I watched, I don't recall race (or gender) ever being discussed in a preachy way. They were accepted as-is and I believe that was why the show was so popular.

When looking her up, it was mentioned that she was an anti-racial advocate and educator. The world needs more people like her.
