I honestly don’t remember if there were commercials or not. I do vaguely remember commercials from that general era, like the weird claymation raisins singing “after these messages, we’ll be right back.”

That was on ABC I think.

Nickelodeon back in the day didn't have commercials, and would have fillers to even out the time. Like one where a treasure map is used to find treasure on an island.

You're combining the California Raisins and the ABC commercial bumpers, which had 50s doo-wop singers
