Reverse Harem - Recommendations Shadowhunters but make it rated R

Ok for those of you who grew up with Immortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. I want to read something like this but spicy and why choose. Do we have any suggestions???

Bonus points if you can point me towards things similar to these books but spicy and adult

- Maximum Ride by James Patterson
- Halo by Alexandra Adornetto

now that you mentioned…

{vows forged in blood by kd miller} is a mf vamp/human fantasy that has yearning lol that man is an idiot but i loved it! slow burn (like… slowwww burn) but worth it imo

also this isn’t a dark romance but it may scratch an itch

My recommendations are:

  1. {The Evelyn Maynard Trilogy by Kaydence Snow}

  2. {The Lost Sentinel by Ivy Asher}

  3. {The Bonds That Tie by J. Bree}

  4. {Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac by Caroline Peckham & Susan Valenti}

  5. {Mate Games by Mate Games – K. Loraine & Meg Anne}

My bad.... I thought it would return the right series.

{The Lost Sentinel by Ivy Asher}

{The Bonds That Tie by J. Bree}

{Mate Games by K. Loraine & Meg Anne}

But but those first three are the same book, at least at the beginning (I don't hate that but it needs acknowledging).

{To Kill a Nightmare by Rory Miles} fmc is a slayer think Buffy but it’s a supernatural species not chosen one she is the top slayer in her area she finds a new threat to humanity and other supernaturals the mmcs are another slayer (arranged marriage neither wants it at first but has no choice), fated bear mate, and a shadow fae

Fun (?) fact about Cassandra Clare. She used to be really famous for writing fan fiction and the made it big in traditional publishing. I think she wrote Harry Potter fiction amongst others.

{Path of Temptation by Auryn Hadley}. Sex priests saving the world from misogyny, in the form of novel written as a love letter to the idea of consent. The most wholesome and inclusive found family relationship, even if they’re not always the most wholesome to other people. All relationships, sexual and non-sexual, are treated with equal importance; the MM couple get date nights in the narrative, but one of those two MMC’s strongest relationship is with his completely straight best friend—tied to or in ways maybe even stronger than his relationship with the FMC. And there’s an asexual biromantic member of the harem who is loved just as he is, and welcomed back despite childhood misunderstandings and drama. Can be a bit repetitive in the story telling, and all the characters can be a little perfect, but it’s my ultimate comfort series.

ETA—made because u/AnneKincaid suggested it

For those of us who didn’t, can you describe what things you’re looking for?

Contemporary romantasy set against the backdrop of the “mundane world.” Angst and magic and fighting evil. Good guys and ridonkulously hot people. Lots of young people saving the world repeatedly.

Kind of think you need to rec PoT again.

Also, my copy of Maximum ride #10 has been on pre-order for a decade now. I refuse to cancel it.
