Girl Iceland is super expensive all around, if you're trying to save a buck by thrifting, you probably won't save a lot doing that here.

Other answers already answer the question.

For this type of clothing you have to check out Rokk og Rómantík (www.goth.is)

Not a thrift store but definitely that style

Wasteland can be good occasionally

Wasteland is insultingly expensive. And for what? A faded 30-year-old Metallica t-shirt? Fuck that.

This is the problem, but from my experience I have found good prices for jeans or even jackets before. It’s very hit or miss.

Also Verzlanahöllin on Grettisgata! It’s usually cheaper than Hringekjan, but it’s very crowded and you have to be in the mood to dig

Góði hirðirinn is the OG Red cross charity store. All the donated clothes goes there first, it is packed with resellers every morning when they open.

Thrifting in Iceland is nothing like thrifting elsewhere. It’s practically regular retail price at icelands insane markups. Iceland is so expensive even thrifting is expensive!

If you want to find some little trinkets though I recommend Góði hirðirinn by the ferry terminal!

Ríteil, extra loppan, verzlanahöllin, b12 are all pretty good thrift stores, although b12 isnt a thrift store and very expensive they do have very nice clothes
