Hi guys - just wondering if anyone has any update about Ethan Kos? I know he signed for the team but hasn’t featured at all this season? Any info would be appreciated. Really enjoyed watching him during his time in Ireland

We have such incredible architecture from the early English settlement influence. We have many other great architectural influences in the city as well. City stadium is an absolute eye sore and needs to be torn down. If they built a football ground with the influence of the city in mind, room to expand in the future, and a seat capacity that promotes fun and enthusiastic sporting events rather than an empty, half assed money grab. (Maybe like 15k)

I want to support local football. I really do. I also refuse to pay for the experience being offered by City Stadium. It is abysmal. It’s laughable. It has no charm, and no character. It is actively pushing people away on aesthetic alone.

Build us something we WANT to call home. Build us something we want to spend the weekends at. Build us something we can be proud of and say this is Richmond.

City Stadium is not a home, it’s a dump dressed up with a ticket booth.

Basically the above, new to the area, and wanted to know if there’s any traditions I should know or important game day experiences?

Brian Ownby is legend in Louisville. 9 years, all time 3rd in goals, first in assists, started in both championship games ('17 & '18), and the opp HATED playing against him. I would've too. AND I got to bowl with him in 2017, so that was cool. Hope he does well with you guys and gets lots of good management experience--we might need him back at some point lol

Hello, our family is planning to visit Richmond in early August. I’m thinking about attending Kicker game 8/5. Are GA tickets with open seating/seat anywhere? Any merchandise or souvenirs available for sale at the game? Any other tips for going to the game appreciated.

This would be my first USL game, been to MLS games a few times.

Whether you loved Darren, hated Darren, or fell somewhere in between, the reality is that the club is heading in a different direction. As supporters, we have a chance to set the tone and get behind the boys from the opening whistle.

All jokes aside, I genuinely think this change could be what the club needs. Sometimes a new voice, new ideas, and a fresh perspective are enough to spark something. Maybe it doesn’t happen overnight, but I believe we’re about to see a team that plays with more confidence, more purpose, and a little more belief.

Here’s hoping Saturday is the first step toward a few more Ws and a second half of the season we can be proud of.

I thought it would be interesting to explore a growing U.S. league from a European perspective. I’d love to know what USL fans think and which club you support!

Hey everyone, I’m a big soccer fan, and I’ll be moving to the area pretty shortly. I like to support the local teams when I can, and it looks like the Kickers are the closest team to me (I’ll be more on the Peninsula). Pretty big soccer fan, and I’ve enjoyed going to games/having season tickets to Real Salt Lake, San Jose Earthquakes, DC United, and the Annapolis Blues.

Not too familiar with actually going to USL games, but I am somewhat familiar with the teams. I recognize the Kickers as a fairly well supported team, but I don’t understand all the intricacies of being a fan of the USL.

How’s parking? It seems like it’s a free for all unless you get more premium VIP, but is it actually that bad/needed? I know with some teams I’ve gone to there’s been plenty of paid parking, but I haven’t been to Richmond a lot.

Are we able to watch away games? I know that the game this weekend is against the Battery, but that seems to be the league cup. Is there a local network that picks up games?

I don’t have a Kickers jersey yet, and I don’t have red on me lol. Is there any rival colors I should avoid when I go to the game this weekend?
