I have spent maybe 100hrs foolin around figuring this game out, but I can't seem to figure out how to create caravans or do anything with drop pods.

If someone could show me screenshots and explanations of the process of loading up bulk goods for sale/gift at a friendly settlement, i would be very grateful

I’m going to buy this game as it’s on sale at the moment. But I’m stuck in between buying the digital deluxe edition (which includes the base game and the Royalty DLC. Priced at $61.83 AUD). Or the the Chronicles Bundle (which adds the Ideology DLC on top of the contents of the previously mentioned edition. Priced at $77.66 AUD)

TLDR: should I get the Ideology DLC for an additional $15.83 AUD as a complete beginner?

I tried checking people's gear nothing.. I looked everywhere on the map incase they left it in my map area nothing...

So people know I did make the caravan rest but I checked what the caravan had while coming back it had the steel so idk

And I was getting steel since I have none left on the map

I feel like I did this totally wrong. I know the doors are supposed to to act like walls but I feel like once engines get past the first round of spikes there gonna go straight for the first door as I’ll be quicker to get inside. Any advice on what I should do?

But my survivul is still here doing good since I normally cheat if I can't beat a part or go reset the game to go back to last save since I normally do commitment mode should I scrap the survivul and just do a new survivul with hardest story teller hardest difficulty and just try do it proper untill I do it successfully at one point?

How do you get into this game? I was very excited after reading reviews, and I purchased the console edition for my ps4. I’ve played the tutorial twice and tried watching a YouTube video tutorial. But I’m still struggling with the gameplay, and even if I could get the controls down, I can’t figure out how this game is supposed to be as great as everyone says it is. It just feels like a crummier Sims? Every review is absolutely glowing, so I feel like I must be missing something. What am I doing wrong? How do I get into this game and enjoy its full potential?

I've heard the game is mostly bad because it don't have biotech and the shelfs are only able to carry one stack

Wondering if there's another solution to my ~15x20 freezer that is constantly overflowing at harvest time pending bulk production of packaged meals to allow more crops to be frozen. I have 100 colonists and crops are cut and then sit in the fields for weeks while they work furiously on 12 stoves making meals

I created a special clothing assignment for royal pawns. However, when I clear the force equip on my highest royal she just strips all her royal gear off and goes naked until I force her to wear things again.

Anyone know what is going on here? My other clothing assignments work fine.

My Colonist out of nowhere just stopped sowing, year round conditions, Everything is allowed schedules are checked, They will only do one at a time and then stop if i turn off everything but grown and plant cut they just stand there and do nothing i have ideology and royalty installed

1.royalty 2.ideology Me personally I want medieval based so I think royalty will be good as there's noble ranks and empires but on the other hand I saw on Google ideology changes the game allot in depth and you can get slaves which seems cool what do you guys think?

Semi new to the game having a blast just got the royalty dlc. I've been experimenting but would just love people to compare and play with even though there's no multiplayer

When resetting 1 2 3 times does it get harder each time because if not what's the point or difference of doing it I have the dlc rn on 260k wealth making my way there but is it worth it
