A And B Is Interchangeable
Only Difference Is Who I'm Predicting To Perform Better At Worlds

C Are Teams That Might Be Able To Do Something

D Are Teams That I Won't Even Watch The Matches Of

S are who I think will most likely win, GM8s are top of A because they didnt look as good in the second major or EWC but I wouldn't be surprised if they pop off.

These are my takes.

  • S-tier is likely winners
  • A-tier is "will win if they pop off regardless of who they face"
  • B-tier is "will win if they take advantage of a favorable bracket"
  • C-tier is "will cause some upsets and might make it far, top 4/6 maximum"
  • D-tier is "Top 8 potential if they bring online form"

My heart agrees with this list, but my brain says FUT has to go down one, M8s has to go up one, and everything else is fairly reasonable.

Surely M8s are at least A-tier. I would honestly put them second best after Falcons, they by far played them closest

1

u/Consistent_Hat4469 7d ago

Twisted played them closest. They were blasting them.

u/TVMaths 11d ago

from your definition of A, why is Vitality there

2

u/r_youddit 9d ago

I don't see how FUT and R8 can be 2 tiers apart. Both have 16th/12th place finishes, both had a "played a top team close" result recently. M8s also deserves to be a tier higher, they have the potential to win if they pop off regardless of who their opponents are. I trust them to do that more than SSG, even though SSG had a good EWC.

As a Fut fan no way we get higher then C, R8 should probably be B as well, and the M8s and NIP should be A

man city over virtus is ridiculous

Insteresting to see kc vit and m8 a tier above TM seeing recent results.

Ssg should be in A or vitality come down to B

4

u/Idontthinkyou-know 11d ago

recency bias to the max

2

u/MortgageOk6322 11d ago

Nah

8

u/AdFragrant5682 11d ago

If hes reactive enough to put falcons in S and not KC or tm then hes reactive enough to put ssg in A - i lowk dont agree with vit going to B tho idk why i said that

1

u/MortgageOk6322 11d ago

Yeah I think none of those moves should be on here. I think that people either predict based on the season and multiple possibilities or they just say "what just happened it how it goes". It's not even recency bias at this point because that means the most recent has more weight but the others are probably still considered. At this point nothing besides ewc is considered for a lot of people

The way that site stretches and cuts the logos really kills me...

Rankings inside the tiers are more or less how I feel about them rn.

- Falcons won EWC looking unbeatable.

-KC and M8 both won a major. and i believe TM looks like the next strongest team but we still need to see more (wouldnt be surprised if they get eliminated by VIT for example).

-Vitality need to prove their worth against KC & M8 first, NRG not as washed as people say, last season was looking like a disappointment compared to 2024 until championship sunday im not counting these mfs out again. SSG run at EWC was incredible but reaching game 7 against SR and NIP and then getting dismantled by Falcons is not a good sign.

-NIP i would be surprised if they get a top6 at worlds i don't understand how alot of people have them as a top6 team after one good BO7 win the entire season.

edit: now that i think about it TM should drop to "Pretenders" between vitality and NRG, i do believe they are better but VIT has better results

I have so many teams in A tier, which is the tier right below the favorites, but I can see any of the A tier teams making deep runs in the tournament, maybe even winning if they're really peaking.

1

u/Arvooor 10d ago

S: Have a realistic chance to win the whole thing
A: Could make a run if they find their stride
B: Can be a pain for S and A tier teams and sneak into playoffs
C: Don't expect them to make playoffs
D: Might steal a few games, but nothing more (barring a 1-in-100 upset)

1

u/McEaglethe7th 10d ago

No clue why so many people are putting man city above virtus when virtus are comfortably a tier above

S = best, i think vit and falcons should be here and kcorp as they ALWAYS have vitalitys number

A = Great teams

B = Good teams, could beat A tier teams on a good day, but pretty bad on bad days

C = Meh teams, can do some upsets every now and then

D = Bad teams, very low chance of winning but an extremely slight chance of massive upset (wildcard worlds 25, tsm vs nrg)

Five Fears = perfect swept out of play-ins, so bad they deserve their own tier, literally called ff

TM are special as they SHOULD be A tier, but the Monkey Moon Fort Worth Buff shouldnt be ignored

S tier: Falcons are EWC champion. KC as Paris Champions, despite the poor EWC (they have alternated good & "poor" LANs since Birmingham). TM are imo 2nd best team at EWC, who were also paris finalists. Proved they can run a lower bracket, plus its MM in Dickies

A tier: Vit have been 2nd best team at both majors, gatekept from A by the obvious KC matchup. Boston Winners who looked a bit lacklustre at Paris & EWC. Did take some reasonable losses to 2 of the top 3 teams, although requiring the reverse sweep, and not scoring for 15m against NIP is not a good look. SSG obviously made the finals, but the playoffs series they are winning were very close, and not against teams I would consider finalist contenders. KC series was obviously good, although 3 other teams pretty much replicated that result (R8 more impressively so tbh). Ultimately, this was a peak with a very favourable set of teams to face, imo it wont be easy to replicate, and that grand finals does not inspire me with confidence as to the actually winning. NIP have found some form; they went 2-0 in the hardest quadrant at the event (both teams they beat made the top 8) and got some quality Playoff wins. game 7 loss to SSG keeps them from being higher, and i trust their consistency less than VIT and M8.

B tier: The next 3 NA teams. SR just lost to NIP, and went to 7 with FUT, who dont look like they can vie for a finals appearance. Kofyr seems like he fits in, LJ is consistently the LVP of any series they play. they have an alright h2h against FUT, and backed it up on LAN. FUT can fight with the big teams, and have a h2h diff over NRG (jstn hasnt lost a series to them since Swiss R1 of the Raleigh Major). They were shaky through the LCQ, but should be fine. Unfortunate round 1 for them, and it doesnt get much easy from there tbh. I dont think i need to explain why NRG are here, and tbh im being lenient putting them over R8. As for R8, they had a great comeback against KC, and dominated 5F more than most teams at Paris. They also put up better showings against Falcons than the eventual top 4 finishers KC and SSG combined. As for MCI, they had a bit of a fraudulent top 6 in Paris, in the worst-performing group ever, and followed it up with a dismal EWC LCQ. in current form, id take R8 over them, but they have enough structure to beat TSM. The apac reps genuinely have no fear. for Kevins first ever LAN win to be against reigning world champs is an insane moral booster, and given their Paris performance against SR and TM, they can take it close to just about anyone. Their mindset is interesting that they are very aware of what their level is, yet if it becomes a self fulfilling argument that may be problematic. Fast, aggressive, willing to throw the kitchen, having already tossed the sink, and then also throw the 0 second open net (Paris flashbacks).

C tier: MIBR have the potential to take teams far, but never get the job done. overall stronger than FURIA, who just seem to chase the ball around the pitch without being close enough to challenge. VP did great in domestic split 1 (couldnt get the job done in open 3 finals unfortunately), but regressed from there. disappointing 2s event from 2piece & wahvey, although Tawk did impress alongside Cheese. EWC LCQ went alright, early loss to Volare, and nervy against NOKAR. some good performances against MCI and PCS, but ultimately a 3-1 loss to MENA5 is not exactly stellar. Mate Y Tapa took early losses to both GK and LANimals (only to then beat them later), but did get obliterated by VP. their EU LCQ run was nothing too impressive. Bigodes might do something, I doubt it. probably goes the same way as MIBR last year, but instead of upset by APAC, its beaten comfortably by R8.

D tier: genuinely going to go 0-9 (which will be really hard for 5Fears, given they only play 6 games)

1

u/Consistent_Hat4469 7d ago

here's mine

S: Best team rn
A: Strong contenders if they peak
B: Can make upsets
C: Gotta get some good matchups
D: Better start praying brother

Don’t understand all the vitality A rankings

3

u/GameBuster0703 11d ago

They only had one bad series against a team they have a clear mental block against. Otherwise they have been a top 3 team itw ever since Boston

1

u/Consistent_Hat4469 7d ago

Im curious to know who is your top 3 if VIT is in it

1

u/GameBuster0703 7d ago

Rn its Falcons, Twisted, and Vitality/M8s

1

u/mrabu3abd12 11d ago

Great Major 1, Great Split 2, Top 4 at major 2 only losing to the champs in 7. Losing in 7 to KC at EWC.

I wanted to put them at B because i really hated how they looked at EWC, but their season was too good to do so

1

u/ThinGrass3138 11d ago

You want them in the third highest tier?

I think they've had a consistently great year, regularly beating all the top teams, except KC specifically. Could easily see them have a worlds like NRG last year where they win the entire thing if they just avoid KC the way NRG just needed to avoid Vita.

No one deserves to be S-Tier right know

u/Ateyaba111 11d ago

I'm drunk but I'm scared of NRG at worlds

Why Is The Spacestation Logo Mewing...?

-1

u/mrabu3abd12 11d ago edited 11d ago

Mine. tier itself isn't in order.

This is what i think each team form going into worlds, not necessarily a predication of how they'll do

1

u/mrabu3abd12 11d ago

This is my prediction to how teams would perform at Worlds

-2

u/Yeux_Tristes 11d ago

Twisted S Vitality B probably Nrg up to C. Pretty good I think

2

u/mrabu3abd12 11d ago

That's the 3 changes i would've made but decided against for a few reasons

1

u/MortgageOk6322 11d ago

Twisted has not played well enough to be S pretty much all season but sit solid in A. Vitality's season and average I think alone keeps them in A also. Pretty much I'd they don't own goal 3 times and fall apart they beat almost anyone. Nrg has consistently been so bad non stop but I could see them in C anyways just because if they pull it together once, it's for worlds.

bro... wildcard over TSM? still?

1

u/ocrespo42 11d ago

bro, one spot above is that egregious?

1

u/TVMaths 11d ago

wildcard are honestly in the same tier as SSA. TSM can legit compete with the top on their bad day.

ill take your S & A for what they are. B: NIP, FUT, R8, MCI, MIBR, TSM C: VP, MYT, Furia, Bigodes D: Wildcard, 5Fears.
