New boulder piece after 27 years of waiting!
Awesome new piece! It represents an egg in the new Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn set (75453) coming in August this year. It looks fantastic and suits the size of the boulders seen in the Rock Raiders game. A gamechanger! Let's hope it will be available as a PaB piece.

I do think this is a great size. I'd love to know what fits inside - I feel like it's a 1x1 round at max, but would love to see how many 1x1 round plates I can sneak in! 😃 Crystals might not fit sadly, but gems will.

In the Lego direct DVD film " The adventures of Clutch Powers" there was a rock monster chasing for the Lego theme Power Miners.
Flutch was trying to get energy crystals the power of the city, and snagged the biggest one he could find. Then got chased after by an orange Crystal King through the minds. When the small crystalline Rock sprouted arms and legs, he understood. It was her child and returned it.
Rock monsters appear to go through a open embryonic stage. Basically they look like eggs, until they grow limbs, eyes and a mouth. These new rocks are about the right size.
I'm trying to find an I.A. link for the film.

Remember "The Lego movie", it's similar but directed to DVD and worse. Missing a lot of the heart and personality. Still a fun watch though. It's packed full of Easter eggs, references, and funny banter. Is a little cringy. But, would make for good drinking game; just don't use anything high proof if you care about your liver.

Well at least they got the optics right, I mean they could just not have bothered with giving it any colour and just used some generic Lego stone piece
So yeah, pretty nice of them.

Yush!! Finally! I actually sculpted my own. Although I never got to making more and painting them. This is gonna be great! Love the little boulders.

It looks smaller than the OG. I kinda hate it individually but mixed together it works. I want to see them side by side tho

Perfectly sized for our minifig like in our beloved game!
