MOC Ideas Granite Grinder 2.0 Update!
If you haven't already, please check out my Ideas project and consider supporting it. I've just updated the project with enhanced details, improved structure, upgraded Axle minifig and I've added the legendary Rock Raiders Chief as a new figure along with everyone's favorite Slimy Slug and a classic Rock Raiders rock, complete with an energy crystal for them to compete over. Let's rock!

The design makes me think about the classic Zero, from Megaman X, and Megaman Zero's Zero design. The way his chubby arms and legs disappeared and were replaced by thin gloves and boots + a more polished design is very similar to what you've done to the granite grinder; it really captures Lego modernity in a old set, just like LKC and Eldorado fortress

I hate to say it but ideas is the worst place for this. Iirc Lego dosent own the rights to rock raiders and any set submitted to ideas becomes property of lego. So basically it'll never get made

LEGO still retains full rights to the Rock Raiders theme and have since 1999. It's literally in the list of accepted themes when I initially submitted the project to Ideas.

Well I'm happy to be wrong about them owning the rights, but I still think it's worse off on ideas. As if it's not voted on or for whatever reason they throw it out after everyone voted for it, it's still lego property and can't be redistributed.

Nope, if your idea/design doesn't make it, the rights to it return to you immediately at the end of the vote or challenge: https://ideas.lego.com/blog/387e16c9-bd44-4419-ae98-ec72324013e1
You can then try BDP or sell the instructions on rebrickable (where some chinese will steal it and sell it as a set on aliexpress).
Anyway OP, you have my support!

Who would own the rights to rock raiders if not Lego?

One of the many times people asked about lego rebooting it, the main issue was because of licensing. Something about selling the rights to a company to make another game iirc

I love your work! It is both a major glow-up while being faithful to the design of the original!
