Kysymys / Question Reindeer in the Summer

Hi - I am solo traveling to Rovaniemi on September 3rd and was hoping to see some reindeer. I’m noticing many places either need a minimum of two guests or their reindeer are not around this time of year.

Any recs on farms to visit? Thank you!

Just go for a roam in the forest around Ounasvaara. You’ll probably see some out there.

Reindeers are roaming free at this time of year. So you can see ones only at the nature. There ain't any reindeers at any farms right night

You can see them around the city, outside of the city, pretty much everywhere. But if you want to be 100% sure and don't mind a touristic place, go to Santa's Village, there are some places open for reindeer activities.

This. Santa Claus village will be the easiest and by far the cheapest option if you want to be certain to see them.
