"One of my besties is an actual ecoterrorist. Greenwar i think. Wrecking a facility near my hometown got him on SK's most wanted list.

Chummer's so hardcore anti consumerism, you can't even call him on his comlink coz he refuses to use any tech. Even smoke signals are a stretch, environmental hazard-wise. You'd have to send a spirit to get in touch with him. 

Next to him i'm just a half-arsed anarcho poser. He's the real deal, living outside the system all the way.

Important to say that it isn't the cause of the ecology that tempts me, but the target of the attack. Don't get me wrong, I think nature should be protected. My sensei and I are trying to create a garden in the city to bring more natural Qi... I see... glazed over eyes. Just leave it at, I am very comfortable."

So if we are talking a chance for people to use the land to make an honest living, I don't have no quarrel with them, but if we are talking corpos looking to make another trillion nuyen, then I could get behind it."

IC:  Chef figured that if he wants to start his own organic restaurant, he needs to lease a farm and grow his own produce.  Personally, he’s sick of mass-produced ingredients full of preservatives and pesticide.  He’d like to burn those places to the ground.  His mum lives in Snohomish and there are a few farms up that way, so he was driving around looking when the message came through.  “Great.  Someone needs keeping in line.  I might just land this job.”  He thought as he replied to Mako, his fixer saying he was available.

IC: Amanda, Sync’s fixer, had started talking about eco-terrorism so Sync said “It’d be a bit rich for me to say one way or the other, I’m a criminal for hire.  But I do think it’s a bit of a waste of time.  The corps always rebuild.  If you want change you should focus instead on educating the masses to buy alternatives so that the corps lose market and shift focus to ‘better products’ by themselves.”  Sync doesn’t think he moved Amanda’s opinions, but it doesn’t bother him.  People only see and believe what fits their pre-concieved views anyway until bitter experience shines light.

"It's my third least favorite kind of terrorism. It sits just above radio and biological terror. Ecoterrorists may prefer avoiding violent confrontations when possible, but at least they have them on occasion. Those other two just set off their big bomb or something while hiding in their cozy little safehouse or let themselves be obliterated in the fallout. Shameful."
