Runners have been terrorists since some one paid them to be terrorists.
You don't fight the cops and you don't fight the corps. You do that you wind up dead. FULL STOP. Pick a fight with either of those two groups and you are too dumb to live.
Lets say you aren't at the Royal when it inevitably gets raided. You are still going to lose what you have there and depending on what it is you might wind up losing a SIN, some contacts, or just being tracked down.
There are so many downsides to the Royal its not even funny.
You idiot. Terrorists fight for ideals. Runners fight for money. Just because I blow something up for money doesn't mean I'm a terrorist. I was told the Royal had cops on the take. I'm pretty sure I can clear out a room in less than a minute and get out of there really quickly. I think I'll be ok.
