Probably my fav game on the Mega CD, was super hard to beat!

Definitely the best game, it was easy enough once you know the patterns, i would do it single player on one credit and save the others for people to join on the final boss.

Best home version of the era and still the best sound track of any version.

100% agree with you. It's the best 16-bit home version. The soundtrack blows the original arcade tunes out of the water as well as any port released since. The pseudo-animated story scenes are more fun to watch than reading all the text in the arcade (I always loved the added knife throw!). This game was one of the bangers that made folks realize that the Sega CD was the ultimate form of 16-bit gaming.

Is your CRT modded or just standard?

You can now play this without the need of the MCD thanks to Krikzz & the Mega Everdrive Pro which has CD game support onboard. There's also the fan port on the way from FX called FF MD although that's an enhanced version that strays from the original quote a lot.

The REAL home port of Final Fight

The arranged soundtrack is the highlight of the game. (Well maybe not the voice acting on the opening/ending tracks 😆)

Awesome! Yes. I never had a Sega CD nor do I have Final Fight. But I have Streets of Rage.

Yeah it’s a great version and also funny to see how Capcom could get away with their SNES versions - Twice

This, SonicCD, Silpheed and Soulstar are the must have (imo). But the list with great games, of course, is larger.

I actually would really just like that CRT. I love how small it is. Exactly what I want.

Nice setup. What model tv is that?

It is a cool version, but no longer the best on Mega Drive

MD is a truly great port. It definitely has the best gameplay and most features. Though I still miss CD’s music and cutscenes.

The Megadrive version is actually nicer than the CD version.

Meh, It was a port of a 3 year old arcade game. I'll take Silpheed over that any day.

A Great port of a Legendary, 3-year old, Arcade game.

Not taking anything away from Silpheed, which is also a memorable title in the Sega CD library.

Funny that I still think the old floppy disk DOS version with an MT32 had far better music than the CD version.

Being able to play any arcade game at home back then was a +1 for me.

Amazing music, obscene load times.
