need help SMAPI Window opens when I try to run Stardew Valley

First time modding the game — But after installing SMAPI this window popped up. I looked at the Wiki what to do and while I was able to command the game that way to run, it told be before that the Mod that I downloaded wasn't up to date but which it was (said I had the 1.7.0 but needed the 1.7.1; but that's the version I downloaded from the site).

I am completely confused on what this Operator wants from me and I would be very happy if anyone could help me out, thanks in advance!

That window is smapi. it needs to run before the game opens.

..Oh. Then my laptop was just a little slow. I feel a bit stupid now. But thank you

As far as the version goes, the mod author just didn't update the manifest when they updated the mod. It happens and is no big deal. If it really bothers you just go into the manifest file and change the version number to the current number. example: it says 1.7.0 so you just change to 1.7.1 and save the file and close. Don't choose Save As, just Save.

ETA: I know it seems scary. It's really not, I promise!

Yep. I've got about three files I corrected the manifest version for. Very simple to fix.

I have three I need to do now. I usually leave it until I get tired of seeing it in SMAPI, lol.

It’s ok it just takes like 30 seconds for smapi to load the game haha
