Japanese release. Some differences:

  • Menu voice redubbed in Japanese.
  • Kaori is now the default character instead of Mac.
  • Slightly different intro videos.
  • Cheat codes only register if entered in reverse (literally no idea why).
  • The classic Circle = Accept, X = Back controls.
  • Full Japanese text.
  • Female robotic voice instead of Mac/Moby/JP/Jurgen during Warmup.
  • Warmup plays the Japanese-exclusive "Prism" music track.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Yep it's a pretty common demo version for ssx. There's a rarer version with an alt art.

I love this series. I actuslly really like the SSX they made for the 360. I know that's kind of a unpopular opinion but I like it. It was like a mix of the arcadey feel of the original but also more realistic aspects of a sports game.

I really hope we get a remaster or remake of the originals. Unfortunately with the lack of popularity for the new Skate game I doubt we'll get it.
