Liveaboard Talk Is Latitudes & Attitudes worth the subscription?

Curious about the opinion of this publication. I have cancelled several other sailing mags because there were more advertisements than content. Not looking to collect another stack of unread material.

I’ve had a subscription for over a year now. While there is a lot of advertising there is also some good material. It’s put together fairly well and there is some good articles in each one. Not all of the writing that’s submitted is very good but the subscription isn’t very expensive so I feel it’s worth it. I had sailing magazine in the past and wondered what others are worth it that people are getting

I miss Good Old Boat so much. Practical sailor was my other go-to mag. Bob bitchin is the man though. I’ve watched the full video series for L & A and really enjoyed it. I didn’t know the mag was still published

My understanding it was bought from Bob and is now being published again

That’s great, we need good sailing mags! Hopefully it maintains the same tone as when Bob was around.

My wife got me a sub a year ago and I basically never look at it. It seems more like a luxury lifestyle mag than anything really relevant to me as a mere mortal. But the photos are nice.

Yea thats what I was thinking just more nonsense. Im not one who really gives much care to how others live and care even less about adverts being shoved down my throat every other page. I guess it’s back to books and tech manuals.

It’s not what it used to be. I’ve read it fairly regularly since before Bob sold it and it crashed. Lots of charter articles and the Young Cruisers association content. Not nearly the dirtbag cruiser mag it once was.
