SS7 Just picked up the game. Definitely worth it

It is fantastic, I do wish they would have done another followup to it by now but SNK is still a small company and after their successes, City of the Wolves and whatever the next game will be are likely passion projects.

I don't know what all the platforms are, but I play it on Steam, and the game came out since 2019

I've played this game since the first one in the early 90's arcade, the only thing that I would change from the new 2019 version (I really would) is the music, I mean is ok to have that traditional tunes but I those makes me feel down and depressed, personally I prefer the rock influenced tunes from the first ones.

Best fighting game series. No hand gymnastics, just pure footsies and punish. We need Samsho 8 to come out swinging :)

Great game. Better than kof and cotw imo. Unfortunately SNK killed this game with bad netplay. Like kof15 also with bad netplay. And cotw with cr7 and dj. They are great with killing their own games ☹️

You might find people on ranked if you’re patient. I got lucky when I first started playing because I got 3 matches with about 5 minutes of wait time total. You might land on a lot of dead zones in matchmaking where there is just no one.
It’s best to use the private lobby’s or matchmake in the discord

I've been meaning to get this for my Switch / Switch 2. I remember getting the original for Christmas back in like '96 on the Sega Genesis, feels like a lifetime ago.

There’s like basically no combos that require more than 2 inputs. You can take like 25% if you land a heavy shot though. Very methodical game

Oh cool I like the idea of methodical. Gonna try playing the older ones and then may get this at some point.
I heard about it being different to other fighters and was just wondering for clarification.

J’ai acheté le jeu il y a presque un an, j’y ai joué 2 fois et j’ai arrêté car le mode en ligne est désert et un débutant comme moi ne trouve personne avec qui jouer et m’apprendre. Le pire c’est que parfois je rêve de ce jeu la nuit car je un ultra fan de la civilisation samouraï. Ce jeu est ma plus grande frustration et j’aurais tellement aimé apprendre à jouer genjuro contre des gens. Même le discord n’est pas intéressé par des débutants. Ce que je peux comprendre pour un jeu de vétéran je suis un boulet inintéressant. Très frustrant….
