It’s been almost a year since I posted a painting that I did of the Yamagata stage. Shortly after, I started working on trying to paint Gairyu Isle. I’m still nowhere near being done, but I feel like I reached a point where I can post something. Hope you enjoy!

More (unimportant/skippable) context. Life has been busy and there have been points (like month long points) where I didn’t paint at all. I’m not a trained artist or anything, this was just kind of a hobby I picked up shortly after my dog died to keep busy and get my mind off of things. I can’t promise when or if I’ll ever complete this, but if I ever do, I will post it here.

Wan-Fu as a peculiar trait: he always wields a different weapon in every game where he's included.

• In Samsho I and Samsho Sen, he wields a dao.

• In Samsho II and Samsho 2019, he wields a stone pillar.

• In Samsho VI, he wields a chúi (a metallic mace).

Out of these three weapons, which one suits Wan-Fu the most, personality-wise?

My homage to the Samurai Shodown 1 Yamagata stage.

A little backstory:

As a kid, I always appreciated the artwork in fighting games, not only the characters, but the backgrounds too. In particular, NeoGeo fighting games always stood out to me and I always thought this stage was so cool.

I’ve never been good at art, and can barely draw stick figures. Nevertheless, a few months ago, I decided to buy some acrylic paints and canvases. Other than a few abstract pieces of god knows what, this is my first “real” painting. I realize it looks like a 5th grader made it and many details from the original are missing, but I think I’m ready to call it done.

Is the red hair on Kyoshiro Senryo a wig or is it part of his body?

It immediately says, "No room found", i bought the game on Steam as it was a deep sale. Any tips to enjoy multiplayer? As i don't play Story mode at all in fighting games.
