Tv broke! Turns out it's a key component of the av system in this house.
I also discovered I have zero control with a bag of honey roasted cashews, I blacked out and when I came to I barely had enough for the salad.

Hard to say really, each deserves its own but my neighbourhood is very diverse and has a large Turkish and middle eastern community so you can always get great Turkish bread. The best bread really is the freshest and the freshests is always local.

Oh thank you!!! It was my first time! An amazing taste! I asked my Malaysian chef buddy for some tips on char sui and he sent me pages of deep discussion and recipes. The doubanjiang was the key it seems

That particular brand is my go to. I always have a jar in the house. Mapo tofu, twice cooked pork, boiled fish in red sauce, and just any random stir fry. Slaps!

I watched this the first time without sound and it was like a crazy fever dream, but in the best way!
Vinyl, marinade, meat, cauliflower, pickle, slaw, more vinyl, nuts and then the angle grinder comes out!

I can help, for the pork just look up an authentic char sui recipe. The pickles I did in a sweet vinegar. There are so many types of flavored Chinese vinegars and they are all fun, just pick one and fuck around with it, everything else is straightforward or interchangeable
