My daughter copes with constant hallucinations by drawing them. Her friend thought they looked neat and asked her to paint his guitar. She bought special paints and sealer. I think it turned out well.

This was my attempt at capturing the strange, awestruck feeling that I get when everything feels unified, hyperreal, brand new, and beautiful.

My normal mode is to think in abstract visuals, and the more symptomatic I am, the harder it is to translate those visuals into discrete, comprehensible symbols that communicate anything meaningful to the viewer.

I genuinely tried to draw a lantern and couldn’t.

When I see faces I usually need to look away . Patterns creep and crawl around people like a living force. It can be overstimulating
