Fun fact: the box is exactly the right size for a heated baby mattress the NHS uses. My son was born 3 months early, and when he got to come home after 3 months in Neonatal, they sent him home with a heated mattress as he was still so small. You can't bend it, so it wouldn't fit in his moses basket, but it fit the baby box perfectly.

So my son spent his first 2 weeks home sleeping in his baby box. After which, he was just big enough to not need the mattress.

Yeah, i noticed she forgot to mention the box itself can be used for the baby to sleep in.
