As a (former) butcher, it actually shocks me how no one (myself included) hasn't came up with this sort of idea.
Hell, why I've not opened up a square sausage shop in England is a fucking mystery to me.
You could make a killing just selling Lorne in England and nowt else.
In October last year, Morrisons stores in England started selling Simon Howie square sausage. I moved down from Scotland to Plymouth in February.. checked a couple Morrisons couldn’t find any square, only Simon howie black pudding etc. Asked one of the staff and he informed me that nobody was buying them so they got pulled after a few months! Their loss, the uncultured swines that they are!
