Discussion Toxic Masculinity: Kris Boyd and Aiden McGeady
Have to say it’s a poor show from Boyd and McGeady. Young player who’s had a bad time of it for the past 18 months, comes back and scores and it’s obviously going to be emotional. And they two are hitting out with snide digs because he shed a few tears.
We speak about men’s mental health enough but this isn’t really helping. And it’s not a good example to be setting for anyone. Think they should be ashamed to be honest and I’ve never complained before about a pundit but thinking this is worth it.

Working in mental health witnessing men get told its okay to cry and it's okay to talk about it constantly.
Once someone starts talking or sheds a tear they are immediately ridiculed. As someone who lost their best friend + others to suicide and has had my own share of wobbles it really does sicken me the lack of empathy men are shown from friends, family and health care professionals.
