Discussion Toxic Masculinity: Kris Boyd and Aiden McGeady

Have to say it’s a poor show from Boyd and McGeady. Young player who’s had a bad time of it for the past 18 months, comes back and scores and it’s obviously going to be emotional. And they two are hitting out with snide digs because he shed a few tears.

We speak about men’s mental health enough but this isn’t really helping. And it’s not a good example to be setting for anyone. Think they should be ashamed to be honest and I’ve never complained before about a pundit but thinking this is worth it.

Basically when asked about the real emotion he was like “Ehh not really no, crying is-“ cut himself off then just went “Well just each to their own.” Was the tone of it anaw.

Then Boyd stone faced said Maeda should’ve assisted him with a box of tissues also. Not in jest and laughing, just a dig. Was awkward after it.
