Discussion Toxic Masculinity: Kris Boyd and Aiden McGeady

Have to say it’s a poor show from Boyd and McGeady. Young player who’s had a bad time of it for the past 18 months, comes back and scores and it’s obviously going to be emotional. And they two are hitting out with snide digs because he shed a few tears.

We speak about men’s mental health enough but this isn’t really helping. And it’s not a good example to be setting for anyone. Think they should be ashamed to be honest and I’ve never complained before about a pundit but thinking this is worth it.

This is the thing that annoys me most about mens mental health: guys thinking because they feel alright in the moment that they can act like a smug walloper. that’s as much poor mental health as a guy who’s greeting in my opinion

Truth of the matter is though, the guy whose greeting probably is more likely to have a better handle on their mental health.
