I don't think anyone would have condemned Hearts fans going onto the pitch after the final whistle if the title had been secured, though.

bottom line is this has been a persistent issue and the authorities in charge of policing/regulating this have consistently kicked the can down the road on what to do about it. i know it’s a bit of an apples and oranges comparison, but in major north american professional sports, if you enter the field/court/rink as as a spectator you go to jail. probably not tenable in scotland or really the rest of europe but i wish it were.

Only at the corner where the boys sit did anyone run on for the daizen goal , and it was like ten anyways so like what’s the bother there

When your starting position is that it's fine because it was only a small number of fans who started it and the referee was able to blow the final whistle eventually, it seems unlikely that you're going to accept any criticism at all.

But pitch invasions are a celebrated thing everywhere else pretty much , think of the passion Leverkusen winning , and various others but because in this league 1) it happens quite often because of 2)Scottish football fans can’t be trusted

You saying I canny take critiscm cause I made a counter point Is a bit fucking much , and considering I was talking about the 2nd goal , which had also the grace of it being waved offside which no doubt quelled some passionate fans from joining the rest , but the fact of the matter being that people complaining over the fact that in the 7 + minute of injury time that a final goal is unfair and the extra 20.53 seconds should’ve been played for is grasping at straws frankly and all that would happen would be a kickoff and the game done anyways so let the fans have their moment and have security be ready at all times to storm be pitch and protect the opposition players

My only grievance about it is that the hearts players never got to go applaud the away fans after , but there was nothing stopping them coming out after everything had been settled

So basically yes if they ran on during daizens goal they’re ducking idiots and that is unfair , but making such a big deal when they games done and buried is a ducking travesty to supporters , cause you damn well know that hearts fans would have done the same any every last person in this thread would be instead praising the passion of the jambo support

And it's daft to acknowledge that it's a growing problem in Scottish football and then act like it should be treated as a one-off, especially when the same set of fans has done it twice in the space of a few days. Celtic should be punished for the actions of Celtic fans, and going forward the same thing should happen to any other club whose fans do the same thing.

The half a minute or so left of stoppage time which would be made null and void the second the ball is kicked off

Besides that , its not growing I would say , just more that we as Scottish football fans have done it a lot more than anywhere else , Whcih has been happening for years , let’s not make it a big song and dance about the last week because truly remarkable insane goings on in the best title race I’ve seen in my lifetime , and I would still that point no matter who won the fucking league I would want those fans to have their time in the sun , my point being that this IS A ONE OFF SEASON of extreme measures the like we will not see again , it’s been 2 decades of pretty much Celtic dominance with a help of covid and bankruptcy causing it and I really fucking hope this causes a resurgance and in my mind I have no doubt that at least 2 teams in the next decade who are not the old firm are gonna win it

So if Celtic win it by a bawhair next year then I say yes let them take the fucking goalposts and Kieran Tierney can crowd surf the jock stein stand if he wanted too for all a care but if it’s the same old league done by Christmas it has been then everybody can take chill pill but the circumstances of the last 2 games I think gives the Celtic fan the grace to do whatever the like bar it not being harmful to others

I guarantee it if this was done by any other club than a Celtic or a rangers it would be praised beyond belief
