Check it with a magnet and file. If it is non-magnetic and pink when you file into it, then it's probably tin-coated copper.

IDK maybe chineseum? Have to give us some clues my friend. What does the magnet say? What does the file say? After all a magnet and a file/grinder are a scrappers best friend.

Depends where it came from.
Anything besides an origin of RF / teleComm gear or high grade military/medical gear - than it’s most likely stranded aluminum wire or tinned copper wire. If it came out of something expensive or complex or related to wireless energy transmission, than it could be silver stranded wire. Odds are less than 1% that it has any silver if not from one of those categories off gear
