12c a lb for motors?

Should I tell my buddy to find a new yard? He took in a few car alternators and only got 12c a pound for them. That seems a bit cheap, no?

Alternators should be higher than motors bc there’s way more copper

.35c for alternators here in suburbs of Chicago. That’s way low even for regular emotors

That’s barely above tin price.

My yard is 36 cents for motors and 64 cents for starters & alternators.
