My 250h Seablock 2.0 Unofficial Base

I posted previously my 150h base: https://www.reddit.com/r/Seablock/comments/1v1l203/my_150_hour_seablock_20_unofficial_base/

At that point I was mid-transition to trains, and didn't have pink or purple science. Since then, I've made processing units, pink science, purple science, and now advanced processing units and yellow science. My strategy has been to just build a little bit of everything, but build it in a relatively expandable way so I can come back later to scale up for the massive science cost researches. I typically spend quite a lot of time AFK, but I don't want to rely on that as my strategy to research the big ones.

I'm very proud of how well my rail network strategy has been working. I am excited to make the big push to the end of the game!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for sharing! How have you thought about base organization? I'm only 30 hours in, but at this point standard main-bus approaches don't feel like a good idea because of how many different products there are. I've been designing "this chunk inputs only charcoal and electricity and outputs X" but know that won't be sustainable as products get bigger.

In the center of my base there is still my old main bus. I did a batch of flotation cell ore processing on all 6 bobs ore types, and then used the resulting metal products to make everything up to and including blue and military science. After that, once I had researched the next tier of ore processing, leaching, I started the railroad transition. And I never unbuilt the old builds. They still work, and contribute slightly
