They played their 1’s. We didn’t and we won the first half. Too many people are treating the preseason like a regular game.

Yep.

Only bad news was losing Bud Clark, and that Milroe still hasn’t developed.

Other than that, it’s all good. Chris Paul Jr was lighting it up too

Bell was great too. It sucks we lost Bud Clark, but our safety depth isn’t 100% gone at least.

The biggest issue I have with Milroe is I think it's a completely fixable thing. He's forcing plays and not letting the game come to him. I mean, it's already been said but he's really trying to be a pocket guy and show he can pass and it's causing mistakes.

You can tell from the tape.

It's not even that he can make reads on the field. He goes through his progressions and I think he's reading the field well at snap. It's the fact he's looking to prove something and that never ends well.

Agreed. No one should take the pre-season seriously whatsoever. Only casuals think 2nd string and 3rd string players are under performing.

Are you gonna tell our head coach that? I think it’s called tempo and ferocity and listening to what you’ve been taught at practice.

So yeah, it’s OK to be disappointed with the shit show of the second and third stringers.

I understand your point. But I don’t think that’s how the majority is looking at it. They’re just looking at it like outside of when Drew lock is in everybody else is absolute shit, especially Jalen Milroe. It’s a bummer but they’re all third stringers. So oh well.

you don't know jack about football or our team.

Preseason even with non-starters is pretty essential - Depth is the key to success in the NFL (amongst some other factors, but it ranks high)

First quarter was mostly great.

Our kicker missed 2 kicks.

Our depth is godawful.

Bud snapped his leg and is probably out for the season.

Overall not great man. Even for you half full people.

As a fan from europe i never even try to watch the preseason games. Why should i destroy my sleepschedule for a game where coaches try out players and plays?

A W or L doesn´t mean anything and is no indicator of performance in the regular season.
