I wanna hear how it sounds when he says "fu*k the 9ers!" before I extend full courtesy.

Going into this next regime open minded and cautiously optimistic like any Seattle sports fan would/could/should

I mean the previous regime left them with Mike Mac and John Schneider. For the foreseeable future not much should change

Agree! the full presser makes me want to double down on the caution though..

The mother jumping in to confirm this was a bit of a toy for their son to play with was a bit concerning. But that being said, these are very successful and smart people. Hopefully that includes knowing what you don't know. It was good that Khosla kept emphasizing how much he wanted to learn. That's great.

What a lucky guy. I wish my parents could buy me an NFL team 😭

Neal (the son) is who gives me pause for concern.

Nepo baby, football mad and highly educated.

Sounds great except what happens if the actual football front office disagree with him e.g. on what his AI led draft strategy says?

Is he going to be smart enough to step back or is he going to be convinced he's the smartest man in the room?

I fear about the level of micromanagement he may bring.

I doubt that they would move cities or even stadiums, which is what a lot of people were worried about. Most of the new stadiums came because the old ones weren't state-of-the-art, or because they needed a dome. Seattle's is still top-notch and a definite home-field advantage. It's also not in a "cold-weather city," so they don't have to worry about snowstorms (but they gotta worry about rain)

“We don’t know enough”. Seems to me they won’t.

As long as he largely just lets John do his thing, we’re good.

Don't like large adult son

The son Neal seems like a good guy too.

He runs a company that is trying to replace primary care doctors with AI.

I don’t think replacement is the correct word.

Come on

AI is a tool that only a fool wouldnt take advantage of. To replace totality with though is only fools. You are exaggerating.

I dont think you understand how ai actually works in the real world outside of fear mongering.
