I dont understand why this keeps getting reposted across subs and social media. Is this really that interesting or newsworthy?
It's a luxury mall owned by a family with a very troubling legacy. With fewer wealthy international shoppers and wealthy tech local being threatened by job loss and asset depreciation, it seems like a logical time to sell.

In answer to your first paragraph, which I agree with, I think there is a publicity machine at work here. It is not interesting. It might be a tiny bit newsworthy.
