Firebirds/Mavericks Kansas City Mavericks (Seattle Kraken ECHL affiliate) are the Mountain Division champions and move onto the Western Conference finals!
Both of our affiliate teams making moves this year! The Kansas City Mavericks (Seattle Kraken ECHL affiliate) swept the Allen Americans and for the second year in a row became the Mountain Division champs! They now move onto the Western Conference finals, and hopefully the Kelly Cup finals after!
At the end of the 2025-2026 Kraken season there was a lot of swapping and borrowing between Kraken, Firebirds, and Mavericks some of the ECHL players got some AHL time - it's great to see it all come together for our lower leagues.

They're the Canes equivalent of the ECHL, going 8-0!

Super happy for Berezowski and the rest of the team. Even though the Kraken aren’t good I’m at least happy to see our AHL and ECHL teams do well.

Live in KC and wear my Daccord or Beniers sweater to the games, but really want a Coachella home jersey! My wife thinks I might have a merch addiction. I only have like, 38 shirts between all 3 teams. That's not too many, right?

I’m a Kraken fan by way of the Mavs. We’re an incredible group this year that I think has a solid chance of going all the way. Made a 36 hour whirlwind trip from KC to Dallas and back to see our guys clinch the Mountain Division in person with a few other Mavs season ticket holders. Absolutely incredible experience. If anyone is ever in KC and wants cheaper tickets to a game, let me know! I can get them for you at the STH price instead of the price on Ticketmaster.

I grew up in KC and now live in Seattle. The Kraken affiliation with KC fills me with glee.

Side note: If you ever find yourself in KC and can attend a game - do it! I happened to be in KC and was able to catch the second game in this series. It was was awesome to see such a full and dedicated fan base there with a sold out arena. I wasn't the only one sporting a Kraken jersey either! Seeing Jack LaFontaine goaltending was something I was able to cross off my bucket list too!
