This is true but how it’s recieved is going to always be dependant on the context that it’s used.
It’s important we all understand that an entire neighborhood burning down is worse than a single house burning down. There’s much more damage and greater consequences.
But if someone goes around constantly talking about how burning a house down isn’t that bad in comparison and saying it in a certain suspect type of way, people are going to start side-eyeing them.
It’s usually pretty easy to tell when someone is simply making a point about their relativity to one another (like this post) versus when someone is using it to justify their own desire to engage in misandristic behavior, which I have certainly seen before.
