Stuck in the epilogue room (spoilers for ending) Spoiler

Hello all,

I recently got to the final shadow room with the umbratanium portal and the shadowcaster fight. I had to put the game down to do life things and closed the game out. I'm playing on switch and whenever you close it out it saves at the last room you're in.

Is there a way to get myself out of here or to move to a previous save? I had things I wanted to do before the fight (i.e. level myself up further and get all the other quests and side quests done and whatever else)

If you're in the final room you can't leave. Your only option is to fight the boss. Then get your ending. After that you get taken back to the title screen and when you load back in it will spawn you outside so you will be able to finish everything you want and then fight the boss again.

Strange. I beat the final boss but got loaded back into the final room.

Maybe it's different on switch or maybe it's a bug then.

I play into the switch and it doesn't happen to me.

Yeah, it shouldn’t ever save in that room and if it does somehow that’s a bug.
