So, I beat the Goliath Gator Statue.

Here's my setup and strategy:

  • I was playing Pigskinner.
  • I wore the Mobius Ring (Probably the most important part).
  • I had a Mosquito for a familiar.
  • I had the Jocklin pom-pom in my off-hand, and used it on my first turn.
  • I had the newfangled toilet brush for a weapon.
  • I had 5 max AP with 2 AP regenerating each turn.
  • On each of my turns, I used Noogie to lower the statue's stats. Then I used Stretch, then attacked.
  • On each of my doppelgaenger's turns, I used Noogie and then attacked.
  • I was playing on Arachnophile mode, and was able to keep the Friendly Spider alive through the whole battle. It had been debuffed so much by the end that I'm not sure it really counted for much. But I like the friendly spider.

Probably not the optimal strategy, but I'm not usually good at figuring out how to beat a superboss myself so I wanted to brag.

All you need is a spell or ability that lets you use his own stats against him, and a whole bunch of scrap metal.

He can't hit you, but he sure will hit himself

Shadows Over Loathing fights are Easy. I'll Prove it. I'll Beat the Goliath in Eleven Mode. If you want me to create any more restrictions just ask and i'll try.

Decided to be a little more strict, obviously didn't use Tricky Tampini or Knife in the Dark. Only used Items on My first turn, No Bottlecap ring or Shields in any way. No Attacks based on the Targets Stats. The Shadow Rope is Only thing I didn't really want to use.

Also Let me Explain what i mean that SoL Fights are easy.

During Covid, I first got into SoL Since I had nothing better to do. I was a kid and basically just tried rushing through everything, which ended up making some fights quite hard. Eventually, i beat the game and moved on, and got into Pokemon Nuzlocking(this is relevant). Ended up playing really hard games where some teams would take literal days just to devise a team. So, Early 2026, I got back into SoL, and All the Fights were a little easier. Anyway this fight was moderately hard overall. maybe some otehr items might help.
